July 04th Melton Meet

It was Karina Davey's 21st over the weekend. I was invited as were a few other members so we decided to make a AMpA meet of it.
What a fun filled night it was.
Trippypossum had a few to many and was not alone in her quest, with Tania and Di also making a memorable night out of the occasion.
As usual I had my camera in action and below are some Happy snaps.

AMpA Mind Body and spirit MeetJune 7th 2008 By Tracey Hallam AMpA President
   
The mind body and spirit festival was a great day.
There were a variety of stalls. Some great, some a total scam.
It was interesting to see the different work available along with the ways people present themselves.
BEWARE:
It seems we have many try hard rip off techniques filling the festival.
Beware of Metaphysical scams.
I won't mention
the company but I will say beware of people offering healing via a
machine, and giving plastic as a crystal stone.
The lady running the stall forget to turn the machine on till 15 min into a 20 min session. She then tried to tell me to come back later for free as the spirits directed her to ask me. I paid $30 to self meditate in loud surrounds and was given a plastic amethyst afterward, with the lady telling me how special the stone was. This lady is obviously trying to play on peoples spiritual journey in order to promote a money making scam. Any members wishing to know the company feel free to ask and I will share details. I do not want this company promoted by any one involved in our Association. It is people like this that shun our field and I was appalled by her lies and fakeness.

  On to a Fantastic Company and my personal favorite by far
"HAPPY HIGH HERBS".
Ray Thorpe is a fantastic person. His very being is a blessing.
Ray's life has real purpose and it was an honor to meet him.
Ray is laid back and non judgemental. Yet with a set striving mission. A rare mix.
He has dedicated his life to promoting and understanding alternative herbs, their purpose on this earth and the politicial dilemma we face with a government that promotes chemical cures over natural ones in order to profit financially.
So impressed was I with Ray's work that I am in the process of adding a whole new category to my Trippypossum's Holistic Health Store selling Rays Happy High Herbs, potions and other Alternative Methods of healing. More details on Rays work will also be included.

an emergency meeting took place due to dishonest vibes being found in the association... action needed to be taken quickly and we proudly announce that tania davey is the new treasurer of ampa. congratulations tania and well done!

AMpA Horsham Meet April 2008
We have 2 members in Horsham who invited Sarah and I to join them for a weekend bash.
So Sarah and I hit the road for the 3 hour drive.
It was a great night and Tania Davey's daughter Kristy was turning 18 so it was made a huge weekend.

AMpA end of year get together
There was not much response in regards to
our end of year meet. However in a last minute attempt
Tania Davey (member from Horsham) asked myself and
Sarah Davies - Worn (AMpA sec) to join her at the
Australian Open Tennis.
Making it more a new year meet, lol.
It was a great fun! We managed to get front row seats,
directly behind the players.

Being that many of our members are interstate from each other
and 3 are from overseas, get togethers can be hard to organize.
