How They Work
Earcandles have a purely physical function. The smoke helps to soften and disperse hardened wax in the ear and the causes a massage-like effect on the eardrum which helps release toxins held in the inner ear. This induces a pleasant feeling of warmth and a balance of pressure in the ears, forehead and sinuses.
How they are used
The candles vary in length, but average at about 22cm long and have a burning time of 10-12 minutes. They are placed at the entrance to the ear, and lit at the other end. It is important that you have help in performing this for safety reasons. You should keep your eyes closed for maximum effect, and have a relaxing atmosphere in a draught-free room.
The Benefits

What are They Made From?
Biosun Ear Candles are made from beeswax, paraffin wax, honey extract and traditional herbs such as sage, St John's wort, chamomile and pure essential oils.
Otosan are made from pure cotton and beeswax and have added bee propolis.
Aurecon Plus are made from unbleached cotton and a beeswax blend.
Natural (Beeswax) ear candles are made with pure cotton linen coated in 100% pure beeswax with nothing else added.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR NETI POT USE
1) Rinse out pot to remove any dust
2) Fill with warm water
3) Fully dissolve measured 1/4 teaspoon sea table salt (salinity needs to equal that of your body tissue)
4) Lean over basin / shower / bath and tilt head to one side
5) Place spout tip against your upturned nostril.
6)
DO NOT INHALE but gently pour in and across the nasal cavity and out
the other nostril. Gravity will cause the water to flow correctly.
7)
GENTLY blow your nose without closing off one nostril, you may have to
practice a few times, but forcing a nostril closed and blowing may
injure your inner ear.
8) Repeat steps 2-7 on the other nostril.
9) Rinse the neti pot thoroughly.
