What is Reiki?
Reiki is a natural therapy that uses universial energy when the laying of the hands technique is applied.
HOW DOES REIKI WORK
The word Reiki describes the Universal Life Force Energy, which calms the mind and raises a person’s life force. The process of healing within one’s self is accelerated with the laying of the hands.
We are all made up of vibrational energy. If our life is disrupted in any way, be it stress, bad diet or changes in life, then this energy is disrupted. This can result in headaches, tension, digestive issues, blood pressure and circulatory issues and even formation of tumors, which can eventually lead to cancers and other debilitating disease. The use of Reiki can prevent such conditions from occurring with-in ones system.
Suppression of emotions and true feelings can have severe consequences on the body if we do not release the build up of bad energy. Reiki is a perfect way to release this energy. Unlike modern medicine which just blocks the mind from pain, (be it emotional or physical); Reiki heals and releases the source of the build up. Over time Reiki teaches us other ways of thought to prevent the build up of bad energy.
Reiki focuses on all major organs and the key endocrine glands. All glands in the endocrine system work together to create and maintain perfect balance. By clearing and energizing these glands we are tuning our selves to enable the body to heal, as it should.
Attunements are much like tuning your car or a radio. Adjusting your body to the required frequency. You are tuning your energy vibration.

When you are attuned to Reiki Energy your channels are opened to universal life energy. The Natural Healer.
Attunement is the process of tuning or aligning a person's energy centers - chakras with that of the universe. After attunement, one becomes a reiki channel to enable reiki flow through his/her hands.
Reiki healing is very simply performed. The practitioner places his or her hands upon the person to be healed with the intent for healing to occur, and then the energy begins flowing. The Reiki energy is smart since the Universe is a very smart place indeed. The energy knows where to go, and what to do once it gets there, or else is being directed by a higher intelligence. The energy manages its own flow to and within the recipient. It draws through the healer exactly that amount of energy which the recipient needs. All this happens without direct conscious intervention by the healer. Thehealers job is to get out of the way, to keep the healing space open, and to watch/listen for signs of what to do next.
Reiki is also a gateway shining pure love into the universe. It is this love which allows us to transcend our wounds and help us remember our true nature.
